🇪🇬 Egypt · Red Sea · Sinai
Blue Hole · 100m+

Expedition 01 · Dahab, Egypt

Dahab

"The Blue Hole. The Desert. The Beginning."

A laid-back town on the Sinai coast — desert at dusk, the Red Sea at 24°C and crystal clear year-round. Just offshore, the Blue Hole drops past 100m. Floating above it and looking down is one of diving's wildest feelings.

Where we dive

The Lighthouse
Shebl's home site. A gorgeous reef shelf from 10–50m with a buoyancy park and an underwater art installation. Great for every level — beautiful whatever depth you reach.
The Blue Hole + The Bells
The famous one. Through The Bells arch at 25–28m and back along the wall — one of the most iconic routes in freediving. Stunning at any depth.
Ras Mohamed
Full-day boat trip to the tip of the Sinai Peninsula. Shark Observatory, the legendary Yolanda wreck, and coral walls that genuinely look like screensavers.
Eel Garden
Right in the centre of Dahab. Easy, colourful, and exactly what an afternoon dive should feel like.

Expedition 02 · Bali → Labuan Bajo

Bali

"A journey across the Indonesian archipelago."

Fly into Bali, out of Labuan Bajo 600km east. Temples in Ubud, world-class freediving, a 4-day liveaboard with guaranteed mantas and whale sharks, and Komodo at the end. Every stop completely different.

Labuan Bajo

The journey

Ubud
Start here. Temples, rice terraces, morning markets, good food. Bali at its most Balinese before the islands take over.
Amed — with Ocean Prana Bali
Freediving on the quiet northeast coast. Ten minutes away: the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben — 30m of WWII steel completely swallowed by reef life. One of the most fun dives in Southeast Asia.
Gili Air — with Pacific Freedive Academy
No motorbikes, no noise, no rush. Turtles on every dive. The kind of island that makes you cancel your flight home.
4-Day Liveaboard — Dewi Operator
Manta rays (guaranteed). Whale sharks (guaranteed). Pink Beach. Padar Island at sunrise. Komodo dragons on Rinca. End in Labuan Bajo. This is the kind of trip people talk about for the rest of their lives — because it earns it.

🇱🇰 Sri Lanka · Indian Ocean
Blue whales · Mirissa

Expedition 03 · Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka

"The itinerary has a shape. The road has room."

The most generous destination on the list. Swim with blue whales off Mirissa, surf the south coast, hike the Nine Arch Bridge at Ella, spot leopards in Yala, sip tea in Nuwara Eliya. A private driver handles everything — you just show up.

What we do

Freediving — Mirissa, South Coast
Warm Indian Ocean water, healthy reefs, and a local freediving team who know every site. Fun dives whatever your level.
Blue Whale Watching + Snorkeling
Mirissa is one of the best blue whale spots on earth. We don't just watch from the boat — we get in the water with them.
Surfing — South Coast Breaks
With a local surf school. Beginner or intermediate, it doesn't matter — the south coast has the right wave for you.
Inland Loop
Sigiriya rock fortress at dawn. Yala safari. Ella hikes and the Nine Arch Bridge. Nuwara Eliya tea country. Private bus, zero logistics stress, all the good stuff.

🇪🇸 Canary Islands · Atlantic
40m visibility · Year-round

Expedition 04 · Tenerife, Canary Islands

Tenerife

"Europe's Wild Atlantic Edge."

Four hours from most of Europe, into 21°C water and 40m visibility. A resident pod of pilot whales lives here year-round, with angel sharks December to March — and Teide above it all at 3,718m. The easiest trip to say yes to.

Where we dive — with Atlantis Freediving Tabaiba

Pilot Whale Freediving
Guaranteed. A resident pod lives year-round in the southwest channel. Swimming alongside pilot whales in open Atlantic water is as wild as it sounds.
Angel Shark Encounters
December through March. One of the last significant populations left in the Atlantic. Flat, camouflaged, and genuinely prehistoric-looking — unforgettable to encounter.
Atlantic Open Water
Volcanic reef structures, clean Atlantic visibility, and a richness of marine life that surprises almost everyone who comes expecting Europe to be underwhelming.

Good dives. Great places.
Memories that stick.

Take these before or after you learn to freedive — no certifications, no performance pressure. Just Shebl, a small group, and some extraordinary places.

Half the magic is underwater. The other half is at a table at sunset, talking about what you saw. Every trip pairs diving with real land adventures — and stories you'll actually tell.

01

Beautiful Dive Sites

Chosen for the water — visibility, marine life, reef health. We go where it's worth getting wet.

02

Land Adventures

Deserts, volcanoes, ancient ruins, safaris, jungle hikes. Every trip is as much about what's above the surface as what's below it.

03

Local Knowledge

Shebl's network of local operators, guides, and contacts at every destination means you access places and experiences tourists don't find.

04

Land Adventures

Desert dinners, volcano hikes, safaris, ancient ruins — every trip has curated land experiences that are genuinely worth doing, not just fillers.

before they go.

Guided freediving with Shebl in the water on every dive. All dive equipment — wetsuits, fins, masks, weight belts, lines. A curated local operator network at each destination. No certification required. Expeditions welcome experienced freedivers, complete beginners, and anyone who is comfortable in the water. The trips are not performance-focused — they are about exploring extraordinary places. Shebl briefs every dive and makes sure you're diving at whatever depth feels right.

Dahab, Egypt — the Blue Hole, Ras Mohamed reef, the Lighthouse, and desert dinners in Wadi Genai. Bali, Indonesia — Amed, Gili Air, and a 4-day liveaboard to Labuan Bajo with mantas and whale sharks. Sri Lanka — blue whale snorkelling in Mirissa, surfing, Sigiriya, and Yala safari. Tenerife, Spain — year-round pilot whales, angel sharks, and Teide at 3,718m.

Every expedition is led personally by Shebl — AIDA Instructor Trainer and founder of Freediving Brain. He is in the water on every dive, present at every land adventure, and has personally vetted all local operators and accommodation at each destination. There's no substitute instructor.

Yes. Wetsuits, fins, masks, weight belts, and lines are all included. Travel light — everything you need in the water is covered. The only thing you need to bring is yourself and a sense of adventure.

Yes. Every session runs with full safety protocols, buddy diving, and emergency oxygen on site. Shebl is in the water with the group on every dive. The safety infrastructure is there — it just doesn't get in the way of enjoying it. That's exactly the point.

How we do it

01

You don't need to be an expert.

Comfortable in the water is enough. Shebl will show you the sites, brief every dive, and make sure you're having fun at whatever depth feels right for you.

02

Shebl leads every trip personally.

Every dive, every site visit, every sunset dinner — Shebl is there. His contacts, his knowledge, and his enthusiasm for every destination are what make these trips what they are.

03

The water is half the story.

Every destination was built around both what's underwater and what's on land. Desert dinners, volcano summits, safaris — the land adventures are just as planned as the dives.

04

Safety is always there, never in the way.

Full safety protocols, buddy diving, and emergency O₂ on every session. You'll barely notice it — which is exactly the point. It just means you can focus on enjoying it.

The best trips I've done weren't about depth records or certifications. They were about being somewhere extraordinary with people who wanted to be there — in the water in the morning, around a table at night, and somewhere completely different the next day.
