What you’ll learn
Freediving Brain combines the AIDA curriculum with a mind-first approach: technique, safety and physiology are taught alongside relaxation, attention and nervous-system regulation.
Training in Barcelona
Sessions are based in Barcelona, using pool training for controlled skill development and Mediterranean open water where the course level requires depth work. Equipment is included according to the course format shown on our main Courses page.
Why train with Freediving Brain?
Courses are led through a small-group coaching model focused on calm, clear feedback and safe progression. Founder Shebl is an AIDA Instructor Trainer and Judge, with years of teaching experience from Dahab to Barcelona.
Course questions
Do I need AIDA 1 before AIDA 2?
Freediving Brain accepts beginners into AIDA 2 when they meet the course entry requirements and are comfortable in the water; AIDA 1 can also be used as a shorter introduction first.
How deep is AIDA 2 training?
The course introduces open-water depth training around the 20 metre range, with progression based on technique, comfort and the required course standards.
What is the most important skill in AIDA 2?
Safety and reliable equalization matter more than chasing depth. The course combines buddy procedures, rescue, Frenzel development, finning and controlled open-water technique.
