From Dahab to Barcelona
Shebl moved from Cairo to Dahab and built his freediving teaching experience in one of the sport’s best-known depth-training environments. After teaching and certifying freedivers across different levels, he brought Freediving Brain to Barcelona with a focus on combining recognised AIDA education with a strong mental-performance framework.
Teaching philosophy
The goal is not to make a student fight harder for metres. It is to make technique, safety, equalization and mental state clear enough that progression becomes repeatable. Calm is treated as a technical skill: something that can be observed, trained and applied under pressure.
Areas of focus
- AIDA freediving education from beginner to instructor level
- Equalization, Frenzel and advanced depth technique
- Freediving safety, rescue and buddy systems
- Breath-hold physiology and mammalian dive response
- Mental performance, attention and nervous-system regulation
- Pool and open-water training
