Team & Performance Experiences
The real problem
Teams carry stress, thin communication and eroding trust. Athletes feel it on the day, nerves and focus that slips at the worst moment. The root is the same: a nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight, and you can't connect or perform from there.
Most training targets skills and strategy. Almost none trains the state underneath them, how a person responds the moment pressure arrives.
For teams
Stress, silos & shallow trust
High workload and constant pressure quietly pull a team apart, less real communication, weaker psychological safety, slower decisions.
For athletes
The mind gives out before the body
Talent and training are rarely the limit on the day. Composure, breath and focus under pressure are, and they're trainable.
The gap
Concepts don't change behaviour
A talk on resilience is forgotten by Monday. Regulation is a physical skill. It has to be felt, in the body, to stick.
Why freediving
Freediving is not about holding your breath. A single breath underwater strips away every distraction and shows you, in real time, exactly how you respond to stress. Panic, and you lose your air. Regulate, and you find a calm you didn't know you had.
In that environment, people learn breathing, nervous-system awareness, emotional regulation, trust, communication and calm decision-making, not as theory, but as lived experience. None of it stays in the water. It transfers to the meeting, the match and the hard conversation.
The water is simply the classroom.
The same chain that carries a diver calmly to depth carries a team through a hard quarter, and an athlete through the biggest moment of their season.

In the water, one person dives and one keeps them safe. Everyone learns rescue. Everyone depends on everyone. Titles, departments and job titles disappear, the CEO and the newest hire are equal, both just learning to breathe and trust the person beside them.
This isn't a metaphor for trust or a trust-fall exercise. It's trust, actually happening, with real stakes, in real time. That's what no meeting room, ropes course or offsite can manufacture, and it's what people carry back to work.
What your team takes away
01
Better communication
Reading each other without words, and speaking clearly when it counts, becomes second nature when a teammate's calm depends on it.
02
Stronger trust
Bonds built by keeping each other safe hold up long after, back at work, across the org chart.
03
Nervous-system regulation
A simple, portable way to settle the body, useful in a dive, a deadline, or a hard conversation.
04
Psychological safety
Facing a little fear together, and being caught every time, teaches a team it's safe to be vulnerable.
Athletic performance · Athletes & coaches
Freediving is a controlled, high-stakes environment where the only variable is you. There's no opponent and no clock, just the athlete, a breath, and the pressure. It's a rare place to train the mental side of performance with real consequences and complete safety.
Athletes learn to down-regulate before a start, breathe through tension, recover between efforts, and hold focus when everything says to rush. The objective is never a deeper dive, it's a calmer, sharper athlete under pressure. We don't promise podiums, we give athletes practical, repeatable skills for performing under pressure.
What athletes train
01
Competition mindset
Meeting the biggest moment as a challenge to engage, not a threat to survive.
02
Performance under pressure
Staying loose and precise when the stakes, and the heart rate, are highest.
03
Breath control
Using the breath to steer arousal up for effort and down for recovery, on demand.
04
Focus & recovery
Narrowing attention when it matters, and switching off fully between efforts.
What you actually do
01
Dry, breathe & regulate
We start on the mat, fully dry. Breathwork, relaxation, and your first real taste of down-regulating on command, the same tool everyone will use all day.
02
Pool, in pairs
Into the shallow pool as buddies. You hold a relaxed breath, stay calm, and keep each other safe, partner drills and communication under a little pressure. Most people surprise themselves.
03
Open water & debrief
For groups who want the full experience, a calm, fully guided dive together, then we sit down: what happened in your body, and how to use it on Monday, at the start line, or in the next hard moment.
Optional · fully guided · all gear providedEveryone included
No one is left behind.
No one sits it out.
Nervous in water? Not a strong swimmer? Every part of the day has a fully dry equivalent, so anyone can take part and get the same lessons. The water is an invitation, never a requirement.

Good to know
None at all. Every experience starts dry, on the mat, and builds gently from there. We work with complete beginners as a rule, not an exception.

Yes. Every session is led in person by Shebl, an AIDA Instructor Trainer, with strict buddy and safety protocols, shallow, controlled water, and small groups. Safety is the first thing everyone learns, and it's the point.
Half-day or full-day, in Barcelona or on-location for your team. We shape the format around your group's size, goals and time.
Both, and the balance is yours. Everyone does the breathwork and dry regulation work; the pool and open-water dive are there for groups who want the full experience. The lessons are the same either way.
Yes. The athletic experience is built around sport psychology, breath, focus, recovery and pressure, rather than team building. Tell us your sport and we'll shape it.
